To assist players with free Artifact Weapons, there is an NPC located in Sea Serpent Grotto (C-5). It should be noted in order to make more progress so you can get more weapons, then you need to talk again with the "Mission Helper" NPC.
A player will need to interact with the NPC about 10 times before he message will show that you have received a free Artifact Weapon. Although you will not have access to the free Artifact Weapons before completing the "Genkai Quest", you will not need to be level 80 to collect the rewards.
All Artifact Weapons can be augmented with a "Job Trainer" NPC that is located in the Genkai: Ni Dungeon.
